This webpage is dedicated to the lectures, lecture/performances,
interviews, and teaching I've done at universities, museums,
cultural centers, and other venues over the years. My
lecture/performances include
video clips, "live" musical performances, and a
question and answer session. I have two
different presentations. One is on the history of Chicano
rock, the other a tribute to the life and career of my father,
the late great "Father of Chicano Music," Lalo Guerrero.
The latter lecture/performance also includes video clips of my
performances with my father and a history of my musical
relationship with him. In 2015, I taught "The History of
The Beatles, Part 1 & 2," a twelve week course, for the Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute at the Palm Desert, California campus of California
State University at San Bernardino. I taught six week class on
"The History of The Beatles in 2019. In 2020, I
taught as six week class "Bob Dylan: A Man and His Music" and a
one-off class on "The History of Chicano Rock." Below is
an at a glance list of venues where I've done the aforementioned and other
related presentations. Below the list is the same list
with details, photos,
flyers, videos, and in some cases links to stories I've written about my
lecture/performances.
